What Is The Meaning Of Why By Jadakiss
In the lyrics of "Why" by Jadakiss, the song is interpreting why all these hard things happen all around the world. Like for instance when someone gets shots or someone gets hurt; sometimes people wonder why these things happen. About how people can party a lot but never really see what's beyond the partying. They are too focused on the partying to see what is really out there. Alcohol isn't the answer to everything but then again people drink it to forget their problems. The same as in drugs; people may use them to get away from personal issues. Those are some points that I see Jadakiss trying to point out in this song. How people get locked up for all the things they do and some might not even be criminals; they may just be accused for

The song is about negative issues that are on a global level. In an interview about the song Butler says “It’s hard not to look around and try to ask the questions, “Does anybody see the insanity that’s going around at the moment? Is it just me, or has anyone else seen this craziness, this madness of destruction, whether through war or killing people through the economy?”” The theme of the song is about standing up for a change and the fact that…

Drugs have always been a social norm and throughout this essay I intend to look at four texts which portray drug use in different situations with different individuals. The four texts are songs, Deja Vu by Eminem, Chris Dolmeth by Hopsin, Ill Mind of Hopsin 6 by Hopsin and The Girls on Drugs by Wale. I have discovered two distinct connections in these songs, one of the connections is that there are many different reasons as to why people choose to do drugs, and the other connection is the purpose which is that the artists are trying to show us that the outcome of doing drugs will only ever be bad.…

The use of drugs has improved society by never having to worry about anything. It brings you into a state of mind where you feel careless about everything and everybody around you. Marijuana is the most widely used drug, but who can blame celebrities for wanting to feel relaxed, have better awareness, and also an increasingly amount of hunger. Instead of going to jail for having possession of marijuana and other drugs, people should go to jail for not having possession of drugs. Life without drugs would be so boring. What would there be to do without drugs? Celebrities are the best role models for setting such great examples for everyone. They admit their personal experiences and exposures established from the usage of drugs. It is amazing how fast the media and paparazzi get this kind of information out to us and how hard they work to intrude on every celebrity to influence us to do the same foolish acts, so we can be just like the perfect little angels that they are.…

In verse two he uses rain as reference to his current situation. ‘You know it's funny when it rains it pours”(2pac). Meaning when bad things happen other more difficult situations seem to occur at the same time. Another figurative language that he uses are Idioms. He doesn't have that much , but he is trying to make it the best way he can. “I'm trying to make a dollar out of fifteen cent” (2pac). One of most interesting part of this song is when he talks about blaming his mother for turning his brother into a crack baby. “We ain't meant to survive , cause it's a setup” (2pac). Which goes in to explain that the government want the black community to…

Drug use is often viewed as a way to create or enhance an activity, but some drugs are commonly used for other reasons. In “Illumination Rounds” by Michael Herr, Herr documents his experiences during the Vietnam War. He writes about the wide use of marijuana to help soldiers, and even journalists, cope with the stress that comes from being in a war. The use of marijuana to relieve stress is still prevalent in today’s society, both in popular culture and real life. Many artists such as Bob Marley, Asher Roth and B.o.B. openly express their affection for marijuana and the short term release of stress smoking marijuana gives them. Researchers are finding that not only is the use of marijuana to relieve stress seen in Vietnam and popular culture today, but it is also a problem among a rising number of youth throughout the United States, and even beyond.…
