I believe that the media will portray a larger amount of positive stories on the enhancements in the human body that prosthetics have on people and that in turn will influence the American public to view prosthetics in a positive perspective. It would be great to see the dichotomy formed in the American public by the media, such as the moral values of enhancing the human body in two distinct groups; one group may be for enhancing the human body, and another group may be against human enhancement due to religious beliefs or dangers that the media may portray or reinforce. I also would like to explore the government’s Transhumanism view on prosthetics and how the media portrays their stories since the American governments greatly influences the citizens of the United States. A different perspective I would also like to investigate would be the religious media outlets as well as religious media stories and their take on bioengineered devices such as Axelina Erikson’s piece from BioMed Central titled, “Bioengineered Products May Conflict with Religious Patient’s
