The first type of vaccines used weak or modified versions of the virus so the chances of causing illness are low and the strength of your immune system rises. This type of vaccination would be used to fight of Zoster (shingles), Yellow fever, Smallpox and many more. The second one uses dead or inactivated types of virus to give your white blood cells enough time to fight this type of disease. Polio, Rabies, and Hepatitis A would be prevented with this type of vaccination. The third type of treatment is called a toxoid. A toxoid turns off the toxic chemicals released from the disease. This type of vaccination would be used to fight bacteria such as Diphtheria and Tetanus. The final vaccination is called Subunit and Conjugate. Both of these treatments use a piece of the disease to cause a response from the immune system. Influenza, Hepatitis B, and Human papillomavirus (HPV) are prevented with this type of shot. Almost all of these vaccines recommended to be taken between ages one to six. Doctors usually want these shots to be given to children as soon as possible so that our own immunization could protect those who can’t take it. Vaccinating worked so well across the world that humanity was able to eradicate smallpox; a disease that has taken so many lives. This invention has worked so well eradicating diseases that less than 1% the population would catch some of diseases that were so common in the early 20th century. Shortly after the success of the vaccine, people began to question the legitimacy of the shot. Rumors about vaccinations harming children began to erupt, which hurt the reputation of vaccinating as a whole. Because of these false accusations the rate of children vaccinations decreased and deadly diseases such as measles are coming back. If these new trends continue, many people unable to be vaccinated will be vulnerable to these deadly
