I am aware of my deficiencies and I plan on disciplining myself to correct and build upon my decisiveness, judgment, tact and knowledge. I will practice sound judgment when I am dealing with personal matters and in the workplace. My wife and unborn child need me as a leader in the household to make quick and sound decisions when it comes to things like finances and proper planning for our future. Daily I will work on approaching my family in a tactful manner to not offend them and rather encourage them in all areas of life. As well I will display the same level of professionalism in the workplace so I do not offend others and ruin relationships. Knowledge will be one of my biggest struggles and I plan on reading more books and learning a range of new material. Currently I have the 360 Leader and Financial peace. I will read both of these books cover to cover in order to effectively lead Marines and lead my family into a successful future. Financially I would like to be comfortable enough to spoil Gracelynne, my daughter, and help my wife get through college so she can carry out her dreams because she has pushed me even when times are rough. I have to learn how to be the strong leader my wife and daughter need, so I plan on learning how to accomplish that by expanding my knowledge and really practicing the principles I have learned and will continue to learn. Being a father, husband and Marine Corps Officer are my main focuses in life and there are lives depending on me.
