What Makes Lady Gaga Successful

Lady Gaga is a succesful American singer and songwriter that is well known throughout the world. Just like anybody trying to succeed in life, she experienced many failures during her journey in becoming a singer. Anyone has the chance to become succesful as long as they put in the work needed. The road to success comes with many bumps and turns, and Lady Gaga experienced just that. Lady Gaga was born on March 28, 1986 in Manhattan, New York. She was born with the name Stefani Germanotta with her two parents being Joe and Cynthia Germanotta. She is known as Lady Gaga because she wanted to get rid of her old style and insecurities to become something she would never think of being known as of today. Lady Gaga attended 3 well known schools, Tisch School of the Arts, Convent of the Sacred Heart, and Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She participated in many school productions and continuosly wrote her own songs. She was going to NYU’s musical theater conservatory at age 17, but decided to drop out at age 19 to pursue her career in music. That’s when she decided to make a band that sang for local bars and clubs in New York. A manager heard her sing and immeditately gave her many record meeting for record labels, but all of them didn’t want to sign her. But then one day a record label offered her $850,000 to create an album with them. She was soon dropped and turned to drugs and alcohol due to depression. Not until 2 years later she was recognized by label head Jimmy Iovine and which is when she created one of her greatest hits called “Just Dance”. She found her desired image and finally liked the way she appeared to people. Her personality was better than ever and most importantly, she liked herself the way that she was. Even though her look and personality might’ve changed her interests were the same and that was creating music for people to
