What Makes You Feel over the Moon?
My sign of the zodiac is Virgo, and people who were born in the period from 23 August to 23 September are usually fastidious and try to improve themselves and their surroundings as they place great pride in tangible achievements. Virgo has a constant drive to perfect and this can lead to extreme pickiness and finickiest.
My inner world corresponds greatly with this description. My mother rarely makes me clean something. On the contrary, sometimes she suggests not doing housework when there are more important things to do, but I have it my own way and spend at least 1-1,5 hours on cleaning. Nobody would believe it, but I just love everything, connected with tidying up. Being busy and not able to wash the floor or do the dishes really bemads me and ruins my good mood. Cleaning the house or putting something in order and getting the desirable results out of it is basically what makes me feel over the moon. I find satisfaction in it and am always delighted with shining cleaningness and smell of freshness.
The other thing that makes me extremely happy is tasty food. My favourite dish is potatoes. That is something I will never reject to eat, even in case I have to dine on it for a week or more. They say that potatoes are among the certain foods that trigger the body to produce mood-elevating chemicals. High levels of endorphins in the brain give a euphoric bliss. So perhaps potatoes, whether baked, boiled, home-fried, french-fried or mashed put a smile on my face not only because I have a preference for it, but also due to its characteristic feature.
The last thing that gives me pleasure is determined by the sign of the zodiac again. Virgos want to be of use, they need to be important and essential to everyone in their lives and in everything they do. It can be said about me as well. I do not always help people, as they often can help themselves without my assistance, but providing street animals with any help they need is my everyday duty. When I see a homeless dog

While most people might take offense at being labeled as a loner, Aquarius don’t mind one bit. They prefer to be by themselves and their favorite moments of the day are the ones filled with silence. They are incredibly smart people and hard-working, so you will probably find that many Aquarius people are lawyers because they don’t mind working long hours and they also don’t mind making people mad. Even though they don’t like confrontation, they will go head-to-head with someone if it means that they’re sticking up for what they believe in. You will probably see this zodiac sign the least in social situations because an Aquarius would rather spend the night alone than go to a party where they have to make meaningless chit chat.…

Sagittarius, the ninth sign of the zodiac, is the home of the wanderers of the zodiac. It's not a mindless ramble for these folks, either. Knowledge is key to these folks, since it fuels their broad-minded approach to life. The Sagittarian-born are keenly interested in philosophy and religion, and they find…

I enjoy looking at my horoscope just at much as the next person to try to see how my day or month will go, but the vagueness and randomness of this type of astrology leaves me skeptical. The descriptions of people and how they match up to their sign don’t always seem to hold value behind it (our in class experience for example) because everyone can be adventurous at times, or stubborn when they need to be. I believe that I do correlate with some traits of an Aries, because I do tend to be quite impatient and energetic, but I can’t say that I am much of a daredevil or very adventurous at all. Saying that depending on where planets were when you were born determines your personality seems to be a little bit of hocus pocus to me, but I must agree that looking up your horoscope for the day or trying to see if your matches up their sign is an engaging process that intrigues…

Virgo is the only zodiacal sign represented by a female. Virgo implies and stands for virginity. I would have to say that it is my strongest personality trait as an Aries. Three years ago in 2008 when I was in India, I got the news from my parents that our family was going to United States of America. Right after I heard that message, I just went crazy. I was much happier than ever before because I have never gone out of my state Gujarat, and now I’m about go out of country India. Because I am very enthusiastic, I told this good news to my every single friend that I had in India. On the very last week in India, I was just thinking about U.S. about how is U.S. life style? What am I going to do after I get there? Am I going to have friends there or not? And all the other kind of brainstorming was coming in my mind. Because of my traits is enthusiastic, I learned; math very fast, in just one month, I almost learned the whole book of math. Before last week, I read one book called the Bean Trees, a novel by Barbara Kingsolver, and I just finished reading it on last week, I really liked it. I was very excited about reading the book because I had never read whole book by myself ever before. I was just talking about that book no matter who ever I met; I just kept talking about that book. I am crazy enthusiastic Aries…

It is a fact of life that everyone will need to do housework, even if there are a million other things they would rather be doing. For some people, it seems to be a miserable or tedious endeavor. Perhaps it would be more enjoyable thinking about housework as an opportunity to lose us in another new world. “The Zen of Housework” by Al Zolynas is a wonderful poem about finding the sacred in those most ordinary tasks. Seeing the kind of sacred in Al’s housecleaning also requires a great sense of humor. The poem captures the moment of the author’s dishwashing to be the most enjoyable and extraordinary moment in life.…

    First Great Awakening

Revival history is an interesting topic and one that can be explored at great depths. Revivals of the past, if looked at through the right lens, can awaken hope and desire for God to move again, even in the darkest times. Revivals show us that God is still very much active and interested in His people. The Father desires that we would know Him as a real Person and who loves to make Himself known through His Son Jesus. I wrote my paper on the First Great Awakening mainly because I am from New England and I have a passion to see the church set ablaze again in that area. The heritage is so rich in that land and I believe that the Lord would love to encounter His people again with a great spiritual awakening. Below, I will go over the Great Awakening in detail discussing the dates, location, key leaders, scope of impact, main features, main message, controversial aspects, principles learned, and our application for today.…

Pisces is symbolized by two fish swimming in opposite directions. A part of you is always trying to "swim away" or escape reality. The other part is so intuitive that you get swept up in everything going on. Your imagination is the perfect hideout when you want to escape, since Pisces is so creative. You love dancing (Pisces rules the feet), movies, poetry, and music. Your moods are mysterious and your dreams are intense. Every Pisces should have a journal by your bed, since some your best ideas will come in your sleep. Although you can feel helpless, you're much stronger than you think. The best way for Pisces to experience your own strength is to help people in need. You have great compassion…

Looking at my behavioral habits through that definition explains a lot of how I have been raised. During my childhood, cleaning and becoming more organized is everything that I really knew. Having that habit engrained into my way of living for the majority of my life, makes it hard to see me living in another way. In consideration of my analysis on my cleaning habits that were formed from my parents I would find that there is no reason to develop a plan to make or change my habit. The habit of cleaning has made me more organized and structured, which is helping me teach my children how to be clean and responsible young people. Cleanliness is close to Godliness is a saying I have always heard. TO me it means that become a clean, and organized person leads to less stress in ones life. This also help the individual to remain aware of where his or her belongings are places as well as responsibility to take care of individualistic…

    Relaxing Place

But perhaps one the most important reason that I think the kitchen is a relaxing place, is because for me it represents a place of symbolic, spiritual cleansing. The kitchen is usually dirty, and every few days I have to clean it. When that happens, I view the event as a representation of my own inner, spiritual state. When the kitchen is out of order, my life is chaotic. When the kitchen is clean, my life has order. In cleaning the kitchen, I once again bring order into my life.…
