What Was Life Like After The Great War?
What was life like after the great war? After the great war it was terrible. Everything was so bad all of the houses were destroyed. All of the cars were destroyed to and there was nothing left to eat and nothing to sleep on. We could not do anything all of my friends and family went to the war and they would not be back for a long time. I had nobody to sleep with or to even eat with it was bad. I had to wake up in the morning thinking that my family would be there but they weren't. I started to get sad and I would cry because there was nobody there.
One night I heard a knock at the door i went to go see who it was and there was a guy there with a gun. I got so scared and I slowly went up stairs. Then he kept knocking louder and louder and louder then I just layed there and it stopped and then it was the back door I was terrified. It got louder then the door just opened I was so scared I thought who could it be there is nobody here so then I slowly went down stairs and it was a soldier from germany I was so scared so I went down stairs and i thought maybe I can just wait till he leaves, but what if he comes up here.
I remembered that my dad had a friend that lived down the street in his bunker so I went out my window and slowly walked over there and there was at least a hundred men out there and when I got there I did the secret knock and
