Exploration has taught us about other planet and even more about our planet. Plus, as the author of the article, “Nine Good Reasons for Space Exploration” says, “To be human is to be an explorer.” To me this means that exploring is an instinct to us and we’ll always be interested in space and what’s in it. Even if the program shuts down, people will try to either reboot it or create a similar program because they’ll be interested in space and want to discover more about it. The argument “The Real Reasons We Explore Space” made by Michael Griffin quotes, “Burt Rutan and his backer, Paul Allen, certainly didn't develop a private spacecraft to win the Ansari X-Prize for the $10 million in prize money. They spent twice as much as they made.”(lines 23-26). This quote shows that people do explorations, not because of prizes and glory, but because they get the opportunity to explore something unexplainable and share it with the world.
