When a mother’s love is not enough is a documentary directed by Stephan Atkinson. The documentary express an issue around the world about a reality of how difficult to raise a disabled child. Rosa Monckton is the mother of a teenage daughter with down syndrome. Down syndrome is where a child is born with extra chromosomes. The people born with down syndrome learn slower than the normal people and they have trouble expressing their feeling. Monckton stated that with the help of family and friends, she learned how to accept her daughter for who she was, not for who she might be (1:26).
