When Did Romeo And Juliet Learn
Why didn’t Romeo and Juliet learn the lesson.Romeo and Juliet didn't learn the lesson because they were to in love. This is after Romeo’s night with Juliet where they realize their true love for one another. Romeo Tells Friar Lawrence that “Then plainly know my heart's dear love is set on the fair daughter of rich Capulet as mine on hers so hers is set on mine and all combined save what thou must combine by holy marriage when and where and how we met we woo’d and made exchange of vow, I'll tell thee as we pass but this I pray, that tho consent to marry us today”(2.3.57-64). Romeo tells Friar Laurence that all of his love is for Juliet after he was just crying over a girl and saying that he would never get over her. Juliet only cared about Romeo and did not care about tybalt at all because she will eventually be able to see Romeo and will never be able to see Tybal again. They were very selfish and had other reasons they only care about themselves. Romeo and Juliet rushed everything instead of taking Friar Laurence advice to slow down .
