As I walked down the crowded hallway seeing many college students leaving the building trying to make it to their next class or dorm. I make it to the end of the hallway and push the door open which feels light as a feather. The set of stairs that seem to take just seconds to go down of and needing to push another door which is somewhat heavier than the first. Then out of the third door that takes me outside.
When I get outside I can automatically feel the sun hit my face so I grab my sunglasses to block the brightness of the big fire ball that lights and heats up our world. I walk at a pace that always fits me, but my friends are always telling me to slow down because they can’t keep up. I finally make it to my building needing to unlock the door and walking up more stairs and feeling the burn in my legs. I make it to my room which seems like a longer walk because it is at the end of the hall. I drop all my stuff down and quickly grab or make something to eat before i leave for practice. While I’m waiting for my food I quickly have to change into my tennis shoes, grab my water bottle so that I don’t pass out or get lightheaded from not drinking, and I put my water in a bag so that I have free hands to hold my food.
The food is done and I’m ready to leave, so I grab all my things that I need for practice and one of them being something that sometimes gets in the way of going down the stairs if I’m not holding it higher out of the way. I walk out the door and down the stairs, I get down to the door that leads me to being back outside in the sun. I’m walking to where practice is being held at and I can already feel sweat starting on my forehead from the sun. As I am taking as what feels like a long journey to get to practice in the scorching sun I finally get there out of the heat and under shade. I set my things down while I’m talking to my group members.
Now its time for us to get started. Everyone who is at practice starts
