Who Is Martin Luther King Jr A Hero
A hero is someone who has heroic qualities, has performed a courageous act and is regarded as a role model. I believe Martin Luther King Jr has all these qualities and that is one of the reason why he is my ultimate hero. Firstly, Martin Luther King Jr is Inspiratianal because he brought equality and justice to the world and while doing that he reduced racism. Secondly, he is brave because he wasn’t afraid to go to jail for what he believed in. Lastly, he is determined to achieve his goals by not giving up. To start off my hero fought for the civil right movements to ensure black people have equality and justice because in the 19th century black people didn’t have the same rights as everyone else. This shows that Martin Luther King Jr was both compassionate and a leader to others. He was compassionate by doing everything he could to ensure african-americans had the same rights as others. Martin Luther king lead black people during the civil uprising. Martin Luther King Jr is my ultimate hero because he inspired equality and justice during the civil uprising. …show more content…
King wasn’t afraid to talk freely to all Americans no matter what the consequences would’ve been. This is an example of bravery because african-americans weren’t treated equally as white people at the time. During the 1960’s when a black man confronted a white man it wasn’t easy for the african-americans to win because at the time white people were consider superior. However Martin Luther King Jr challenged that not physically but verbally. Which brought more attention to the civil uprising.
