In the real world, teenage love is not like the ones in fairy tales. There much more complicated than people make them out to be. Each relationship faces difficulties. So each one should overcome it. In Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet love story is not perfect. Their love story takes a twisted turn. And in the real world, love stories don't always have a happily ever after. And Shakespeare taught that by showing that Romeo and Juliet's love life was complicated. And even worst, it had a tragic ending. He didn't just cause problems with the Capulets by killing Tybalt, but he also got himself banned. Of course some could argue that none of this is his fault. That his parents should have guided him better. Especially his mother, she should have been there when her son’s heart was broken. But she was not. And even though she was not there for him, there was no need for him to act out. The young Montague killed his own mother. Causing her so much grief that she died from it. He knew better than anyone what it was like to be heartbroken and to grief. Same state of emotions but different situations. He knew the consequences for his actions. He knew he would hurt people that he loved dearly. But the fact that the young Montague carried out his marriage either way, changes everything.
It's all clear to us that Romeo and Juliet's love story was not a great fairy tail. In fairy tales every princess has a prince that saves her. But in this "fairy tale" Romeo could not save Juliet, let alone himself. His relationship killed six people. He was selfish to try to keep a marriage that would destroy the people around him. Therefore he is responsible for everything that has gone wrong. Maybe if he had met Juliet in another lifetime, things would have been different. Or maybe Juliet and him were just not meant to
