In my opinion I believe that the most courageous person is Junior. He was brave enough sell his car to get enough money to compete in Canada even though there is a very slim chance that he and his team will be able to accomplish their goal there. He did something really risky by selling his car and gambled his car money by spending it all to go to Canada. Not only that, he also defied his father by pretending to work in his new job but instead headed to Canada with his bobsled team. That to me is something I would consider courageous and brave. If someone cheated in a sporting event, can he ever be trusted again?
Yes, if that person did cheated only once before it would only be fair to give him one more chance. He has hopefully learned from his mistakes and knows what he has done wrong so he can change his ways and become a better athlete. You can never know what will happen and you can’t judge somebody from his actions done in the past. However, if that person was given multiple chances and still proceeds to cheat I will not give him another chance …show more content…
because if I do the results will be the same. He will end up cheating and will not change his ways.
What do you think about cheating? Do you play by the rules or get away with as much as you can?
I think cheating is a dishonorable action and I will not suggest anybody to cheat.
The main reason I play sports are to become better at the game. By cheating you skip the whole journey of self-improvement and by doing that you skip the process of becoming a better player. Cheating is for people who want quick results and don’t want to experience the discomfort of doing the journey of becoming a better athlete. Cheating instead makes you a better player for a while until you get caught, which then you regret ever cheating in the first place. Even if I don’t get caught and nobody knows what I have done, I will always know and I will feel bad for having to resort to dishonesty just to win
something.
Were the Americans right to be angry at the coach over his cheating years before? Were they right to take out their anger on the team? The Jamaicans hadn’t done anything wrong.
The Americans were not right to be angry at the coach due to the fact that they hadn’t seen him for a long time and the coach could have regretted what he has done during that time. In addition they shouldn’t take out their anger on the whole team because the Jamaicans hadn’t done anything wrong.
