When talking about the special someone there is always one person that comes to mind. We all have heroes, people we look up to, and model ourselves after. No matter the situation, good or bad, in times of trouble we search for the one to lean on. It’s the person who will always be there through thick and thin. The one person who will never judge and think any less because of our actions, the one I am talking about is my mother.
My mother is the most important person in my life. She is the heart and soul of our family. Juggling her job as a registered nurse (as well as other medical endeavors), she is raising two children and keeping our home safe and lovely. Even with my mother’s busy schedule she never forgets about me. Her wisdom is endless, and because of the wisdom she has passed down to me I feel as if I know my mother better than anybody. My mother once told me that I am the foundation of her joy, strength and love. My world may not revolve around her, but she is the most influential person in my life. She taught me how to be a lady, she taught me to love, and she taught me that crying isn’t a sign of weakness it is a sign of compassion.
She showed me the beauty of the world. Without her I would have never stopped to smell the roses. I am a very hyperactive person my patience is nonexistent. I like to do things spontaneously and cannot sit still very well. I have learned how to slow the boat thanks to my mother. She is my rock; she showed me that I don’t have to move a million miles a minute. The world is filled with beauty and mother always said, “If you just fly by everything, you will miss out on all there is to this world.” There are times that we have altercations, but like every Mama Bear she is protective of her young. I appreciate that she worries and I know she has the best intentions. She calls me all the time just to check up and say hello.
