Why Are Slaves Called An Outsiders
First, a slave is a person who is restricted from his or her own freedom in life. During the ancient time, slavery was stratified in terms of race. Additionally, millions of people were slaves back then; they were forced to work every day. Also, slavery is one of the oldest trades known. Slavery was a massive issue in this world because it is taking away the person’s freedom to live. Slaves did not have the right to their own sexuality, to their own reproductive capacities (Moore 1). Consequently, slavery was denying individuals to their rights and privileges for economic, political, and or social purposes. Usually a slave is called an “outsiders” who were perceived as ethnically different (Moore 1). Slaves come from those who were removed
