We can get a lot of benefits from arts rather than sports like for releasing of emotions, for relieving stress, increasing self-esteem and morale, and strengthening our critical thinking. While young children may have some emotional implications such as low self-esteem and anxiety for not being good at playing sports or when they loss.
It can’t hurt anyone unlike in sports, you are prone to injuries.
It can also be a form of relaxation. The act of creating art can simply work as a needed distraction to clear your head of daily life stresses. In the act of sketching or painting you experience the sense of a meditative flow, focusing on the enjoyable act of creating art; this could not be comparable to that of someone playing sports that only causes stress and pressure from the schedule and the routine.
For students like us, arts can play a crucial role in improving our ability to learn because we can make use of a range of intelligence and learning styles.
People who have a good background in arts are likely to have more information and insight.
Education of in arts not only enhances our understanding of the world, it also broadens our perspective on academics because art allows the creativity to express ourselves while challenging our intellect. While playing sports does the opposite of it if you will choose to prioritize sports. If sports could bring us lots of health benefits, it may also lead you to other long-term health risk because I found out that some are using sport enhancing drugs to better physical performance.
