First, Eckels was not prepared to afford such as stressful situation, as he thought that it was impossible to kill the Tyrannosaurus with a rifle which seemed to be a cap gun. As a consequence, he started feeling twitchy, unconfident and alarmed. For this reason, he moved so much that the Tyrannosaurus notice his movements and came running in order to attack them. In fact, the dinosaur could have killed the other hunters. For this reason, Travist told him that he must go back to the time machine. Suddenly, He went out from the path as he felt dizzy and agitated. In addition, he shuffled off along the path and he was not aware of the situation and he did not where he was going. Afterward, Travis told him that he must take the shots from the dinosaur.

In addition, Deutscher won them. This was a catastrophe as he was a militarist, anti-Christ, anti-human and an anti-intellectual .
