The atomic bomb was necessary in order to assure the war would end as soon as possible. On August 6th the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, on august 9th a second one was dropped on Nagasaki, and on August 10th Japan declared its intention to surrender. This is clear proof that atomic bomb was an effective way to end the war. Even if it did kill many people it might actually have killed less people then if we had kept the war going for much longer.
Japan brought it on themselves. Japan surprised us with an attack on Pearl Harbor. This was one of the worst things that could've been done. We were not expecting this to happen at all because Pearl Harbor is too shallow to drop bombs into it so we had kept almost all of our fleet there. Japan invented something to go over part of the bombs so that it would make it okay to do this. Japan hit us hard very hard and we had to choice but to strike back with war. They hit us harder then we could've expected in Pearl Harbor and they …show more content…
deserved a good hard hit back.
If we didn't drop the bomb on Japan, then Japan would've done something to us.
Both of the countries needed desperately to have the other one surrender. The war had been going on for a long time and it wasn't going anywhere something drastic had to be done. It was better that it be done to Japan because they had already hit us hard. If we had waited for them to drastically injure us then that would've cause for us to surrender and for them to win the war. Then a lot of people would've died from that plus even more while we would've been waiting for them to attack. Sometimes unfortunate things happen from war. They may be sad but they will happen and it's not the wrong decision made by us the war was avoided in the first place so bad things were going to
happen.
Japan knows that we are in control. With the drop of the atomic bomb Japan knows forever that we did that to them. They will always know that we won the war. This way the next time we are at war maybe Japan will want to be allies with us instead of enemies, enabling us to have an easier time winning our next war.
When people are at war bombs get dropped. Japan brought itself into the war. When you are in a war you most always know that anything can happen to you. The country could not expect to enter the war and leave without a scratch and be victorious. Sacrifices have to be made and Japan made a sacrifice to attack Pearl Harbor entering themselves into the chance of losing many lives in the war. The United States was just making a decision that had to be done in the attacks of war. Japan is doing fine now with more people than they need. The war is over and Americans and Japanese people live together in peace.
"The initial use of the new weapon... should be... to promote... out international relations. At the same time, we recognize our obligation to our nation to se the weapons to help save American lives in the Japanese War." The drop of the atomic bomb lost many lives but it also saved many as well. Although it was a difference between American and Japanese lives it comes down to just lives in general no matter which race they are. The atomic bomb ended the war and saved men in the army's lives, it saved civilians lives that might have been hit by a bomb it was the choice and sacrifice that had to be made. If the bomb had not been dropped then it later would have eventually been dropped. This is what was needed to end the war with the least amount of pain and suffering and the shortest amount of time possible since the bomb had been available for use.
The bomb was dropped. People were killed. But the war was over. No more unexpected bombings. No more families losing their husbands from sending them out to fight to defend their country. Some people did have some great losses, but that is what war brings, some people had no losses and ended the war with a great victory that kept their hopes high and their country standing strong. War happens and people die but their countries and hearts and what they believed in will always be there. The war is over now and many people are descendants from the survivors of World War II.
