He is known today by what his themes represented. The main answer people get when they ask others why we still read Shakespeare today is, “His themes were very different and a big step into writing.” People also read Shakespeare without knowing it because writers change some things from Shakespeare's waiting to be in our understanding. Shakespeare's writings also gave big events and people love to read them and try to figure out what Shakespeare was writing them for. Along with that, Shakespeare used very good rhyming skills and he did very good at description. Shakespeare's writing shows kids nowadays what writing used to be like and how it is now (“Why Do We Read”). We use Shakespeare's writing and plays in high school and college. We do this because it challenges our brain to understand something we usually don’t read. These plays have been performed in every language and they have been performed at festivals and anything that people celebrate Shakespeare at. Shakespeare's writing is even read in prisons because teachers believe that this. This writing type can be very hard to understand but it is very good writing. So we read Shakespeare's writing to understand it and to try to learn the different ways you can write a story or describe something that doesn't have to be too long. He wrote a total of 154 poems and 5 long narratives. Most of the sonnets Shakespeare wrote were love stories; however, most of the sonnets were written with a forbidden love ("Shakespeare the”). One of the best plays that Shakespeare wrote was “Romeo and Juliet .” This play had two people who were madly in love but they lived in totally different natures. Juliet’s family hated Romeo’s family and the other way around. But, Romeo and Juliet had fallen in love when they met and they didn't know that they had a rival until the family forbid it. Romeo and Juliet secretly get married when they are told not to. Then, Romeo is exiled from where Juliet lives, and is told that if he comes back he will be executed. When Romeo comes back, he thinks Juliet is dead; however, she is just sleeping because of a potion. Juliet sends a messenger to tell Romeo that she is not really dead. But the messenger doesn't make it. Romeo then thinks that Juliet is dead and kills himself. When Juliet awakes she goes to see Romeo only to see that he has killed himself. So she decides to kill herself also. Since this feud ended with both lovers dead, the families decided to get rid of the violent feud (The).
