Confederation needed to be replaced because it caused many issues between the states and the

This led to arguments between the states and government, which led to their refusal of financial
support from the government. Each state printed its own money, therefore the economy was
unstable. When rebellions broke out, the national government was unable to combine forces to
put down the rebellion. The government also could not regulate trade between the states and
