Why Do 16 Year Olds Need To Vote

16 year olds are way too young to vote! Most 16 year olds don't study politics so they wouldn't know enough about politics. 16 year olds should not be able to vote because they are very immature when it comes to politics, most 16 year olds would listen to what their parents say so it would be a biased vote, finally many 16 year olds would skip the election because they have many things going on in their lives. 16 year olds are very immature when it comes to politics. “Young adults indeed in many cases are profoundly ignorant about politics” (Brennan). Many people believe that the voting age should be lowered, also many people think that 16 year olds are too immature to vote. “Most scientist agree that youngsters in their mid teens aren't suited to politics” (West).
