“Belonging” to certain social, religious, and materialistic groups is just something created so that peddling goods and “services” is easier and more can be sold. Religious groups are some of the worst to use the power of human manipulation to fuel their lives and fancies making you follow a certain way of life that suppresses the individuals mind and spirit. If you want to have a certain amount of machines that create something perfect and identical every single time you create those machines to be identical themselves, to know and understand only one thing and task enough to do it efficiently and correctly, other than that it stays shut off and shut down. If you view the classroom that were in right now, in the school we “belong” to, living in the town we “belong” to, and contributing to the social construct that you “belong” to you find yourself lining up with the person next to you, behind you, and in front of you, all performing the same task learning the same general information so when the time comes to choose something to specialize in you can do that certain thing to a certain standard so someone can give you a reward so you can feed and house yourself and so hopefully you'll go back and do it again the next day. Belonging to different social groups suppresses individuality so that no one ever gets to truly know who they are, only what they've been told to be. Belonging to different materialistic groups can cause tremendous ego inflation and also depression because much of suffering derives straight from desire, wanting something, wanting everything and not being happy
