Why Do We Need School Uniforms?

School uniforms are now coming a serious problem for parents who can not afford these things. They used to just be in private schools or religious schools but now they are coming to public schools. Most likely if a student does not like something they are going to be stupid and yell or talk back to the teachers out of anger. The students will not be the only ones doing it either. The parents will be as well. The parents will be because they are very expensive, causes controversy between the students, and it goes against students freedom of expression.

Students already do not have much freedom at school but what we do have left, is being taken away. School uniforms restrict students' freedom of expression. The First Amendment of the US Constitution guarantees that all individuals have the right to express themselves freely. (teen nick). In some states, clothing choices are limited only by safety concerns. In others, courts approve strict dress codes unless they are clearly unreasonable or discriminatory. (law lawyers) Clothing is also a popular means of expressing support for various social causes and compulsory uniforms
