Right now, I have no experience working in the criminal justice field. Therefore, I want to be involved in programs that will give me the experience needed while I take classes on line to further my education. Furthermore, I have chosen the behavioral management program because I would like to work with either juveniles or victims in court. In addition, this program is better suited for my dream job than any other concentration. I have two different ultimate career goals one is to become a behavior management specialist and the second is to work as a victim advocate specialist for the military. These two goals are why I believe the behavioral management program will be best for me. The degree I will be receiving from Mansfield University in May is a bachelor’s in criminal justice. It has prepared me for a career in criminal justice by increasing my knowledge on the foundation of criminological theory. Courses that I have taken during my undergraduate include policy, juvenile justice, law and procedures, victimology, correctional group management, ethics, research methods and stats, and law and society.
