Why I Want To Be A Loyalist

There are many good reasons to become a Loyalist or a Patriot. Even though the Loyalist have a big and powerful army, I would still become a Patriot. I would want to be free or fight to be free. I would not want to be controlled by anyone or any king, like the Loyalist. Everyone deserves to be free, but not everyone wants to fight for their freedom, but the Patriots do. I would become a Patriot for many reasons. Some of the reasons include rebelling against taxes, believing in what we want, and fighting for our freedom.

You have a reason when you're fighting along with the Patriots. When you're a Loyalist, you are fighting for your own benefit. People came to America for freedom and no taxes. England is breaking that and trying to tax us for stupid reasons. If you're a Patriot, you're trying to fight for what you came to America for and for your family. The Loyalists are just trying to be greedy and earn more money by ripping us off. Even though they have a better army, we have desperation that drives us to victory.
These freedoms let us have a more relaxing life without anyone to command us to do certain things. We could choose to go to England's church, a different church, or have no religion at all. You wouldn't have to pay taxes to government you don't even believe in. You have the freedom to own a farm with no one taking your money because you would be free from England's rule after you win the war. As a Patriot, we can be what we want, and believe in what we want. As a Patriot, we are our own
