Why I Want To Be A Veterinarian

My mom once asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, and like many other eight year old girls I responded, "I want to be a vet Mommy!” She looked at me and answered, "Well, Megan, if you want to be a vet, don't just aim at working with cats and dogs. Be a wildlife veterinarian!" Mom inspired me to dream big, and to never settle for the traditional or ordinary. From that moment on, I set all my goals as high as I could. Only am I satisfied with myself when I either achieve or surpass those goals. She taught me to expand my horizons; to grab life by the reins and soak in as much as possible. I am a dreamer, and I discovered my most ambitious dream of all when I found my singing voice. Indeed, I remember the moment
