According to The National Safe Schools Framework, bullying can be defined as repeated verbal and physical harassment in any form which involves misuse of power by a group or any single individual. Physical fights or verbal arguments between two or more schoolchildren do not come under the ambit of bullying, but when teasing becomes hurtful, rude and constant, then it crosses the line into bullying. With the rapid progress of technology and the advent of the Internet, cyber bullying has made its mark, which includes harassment through the mobile and the Internet. The child often does not tell about his experience at home because of fear of repercussions. He feels that discussing this issue with parents may have a negative outcome. Sometimes, as both parents are working, they are unable to give enough time to their children and listen to their problems. If you have a school going child, watch out for warning signs which indicate that your child may be a victim of bullies:
1. The most obvious indication is the child’s unwillingness to go to school. He or she may come up with some excuses to skip school.
2. Your child may have bruise marks on his or her
