Why Is Chivalry Still Relevant Today
The world today needs the return of chivalry. Chivalry has become just a thing of the past. Manners, respect, romance, and protection of the weak are just a few examples of what are now gone. Even the most basic manners could play a major role in improving today’s society. These are examples of what the world needs today.

People in the world have lost even the most general manners. An example of this is that someone could run into another person and not even apologize. People only think about where they have to be rather than thinking about other people that could be in the way. Nobody these days thinks about how other people could possibly feel from the simplest rude actions. The worst part is that people do not exactly understand when they are being rude, so they do not know they could be hurting others. Most base how they treat others on their first impression rather than actually getting to know and understand the person. The problem is that people do not put in the effort to make a connection with anyone else, so they just judge the other based on the first impression or rumors. Most humans will use

Interaction over phones and the internet is much different than interaction in real life. When using the internet, there is no absolute need for a true emotional connection. This makes the interaction much easier. The hard part is that anyone could lie about anything on the internet. Another problem is that dating abuse is something seen much too often today. Around 1.5 million high school teens are abused by a dating partner in a year. One in three teens in the United States has experienced physical, sexual, emotional, or verbal abuse from their partner. Something seen everyday is that men see women as sexual objects. Most men say that they either do not objectify women or that this is just normal behavior.
