Why Is Chivalry Still Alive

There are many opposing views on chivalry. Is it dead? Is a small part of it still alive? Well, sadly, chivalry is dead. Time and society changes have forced out what once was considered to be common behavior. Chivalry is largely based upon the devotion of oneself to a king or queen, or individual that one would do anything and everything to protect, assist, or glorify. In modern day society, there are no longer any kings or queens for people to dedicate their life toward. However, occasionally, civility is alive in modern times because nearly every day we see people doing acts for others that are as simple as even holding open a door, or assisting someone across a crowded street. We even see stories on the news about someone doing some heroic deed or sacrificing themselves to help someone in need or in danger.
This rule is often broken in modern society. Today, we see it all over various forms of media where people will get into a fight with their fists, and it ends with one of them stabbing or even shooting the other one. This happens so often that sometimes we hear of this and we barely even acknowledge the fact that it has happened. This is also shown when people get into a seemingly simple verbal argument and then escalates till one of them attacks the other one physically. The person attacking is breaking the rules of chivalry by attacking the person who is armed with only their voice of violence, with weapons that can silence the voice
