Disney is not accurate because they have to make the movie appropriate to watch. The movie didn’t get her in the True Relation. In Adams interpretation, it says, “ Smith never mentioned Pocahontas in a true relation.” This means that Pocahontas was never talked about and how she saved John’s life. This is why Disney is not accurate so that it is appropriate to watch.
Disney is not responsible because there were not historians back then and they have to rely on Smith’s real reach. The movie showed Pocahontas saving John and them not beating his brains out. Also in Adam’s interpretation, it says, “...one with clubs beats out their brains.” “isn’t rather odd that he didn’t mention his own experience here!” This means that he didn’t really beat his brains out and I wonder why he didn’t talk about it since he did experience it in person. The movie didn’t show any gross of the beating of the brains out. The movie didn’t make fun of the saving. This movie is based on a true story. Also, Smith only mentioned the movie in a General History and not in a True Relation. Disney was respectful because they made it a true story, and did nothing inappropriate for the crowds that are
