Common Topic Drunk driving should not be ignored it is dangerous and evil. Drunk driving can cause others harm. Everyone should obey the traffic laws that keep us safe. A man decided to go to the bar after having a bad day. While complaining in his head about his day he got drunk. When he was done drinking he headed out of the bar to go get in his car and go home to his family. He was about to open the door when he thought to himself I should probably get a cab because I’m drunk. He called a cab and went home in that. This is because a speeders mind is not influenced, and he can make conscious decisions. When you are drunk driving you are not aware of what you are doing and your decisions are changed. A drunk driver also runs the risk of passing out more so than a speeder. This is why it would be better to speed than drunkenly drive. The intention of a drunk driver may not have been to kill, but it can still happen. This shows the carelessness of a drunk driver. They know they could possibly kill someone or ham them, but they still drive. Even if killing isn’t the intention it doesn’t give you the right to commit that crime. They should be jailed for their carelessness. Drinking and driving is not a crime people usually commit once. They do it over and over again and sometimes even after they are caught. It starts with them taking just a short drive somewhere then they start drunk driving no matter the distance. There arrogance is causing deaths and injuries.
