Why Is Football Too Dangerous For Children
Is football too dangerous for children-adults to play. I don't think that it is. I think that the pros outweigh the cons. Let me tell you why.

Football. It is one of the biggests American sports. It also helps the players and the youth players stay in shape. It Also makes you a little more friendly because you need a team to play not one person can make it. I play the sport and each year i lose at least a pound. And it is also fun.

What I mean is that it has a lot of fun stuff. Like when you see the guys on the tv and the hit each other that is fun for each other. You wouldn't know how much fun it is until you do it. The moment your coach says that you are not doing drills and you're hitting it is one of the most exciting moments ever.

Parents protect their children from drugs and dangerous situations for eighteen yeas only to realize that they should have protected them from their own good judgement. It has been known for over two decades that continuous blows to the head during physical performance in sports, places athletes at a high risk of permanent brain damage. These sports also pose a threat to adolescent children due to the connection between brain damage and conditions such as depression, suicidal thoughts, and memory loss. “Don’t let kids play football” is rhetorically persuasive because of the speakers’ background relating to the human brain, suggesting that the audience is responsible for the harm caused to children when playing dangerous sports, and effectively emphasizing the idea of protecting all children from harm.…

The research topic that I will be investigating is the relationship between high impact sports and their negative health effects, specifically the effort to make these sports safer. The research that I looked at in the past went slightly into the effects of these sports on children. It also made a point of criticizing society on why we feel the way that we do on this issue. Mainly, why we tend to care more about our health in regards to many other issues. The article Don't let kids Play Football, by Bennet Omalu does a good job of providing evidence and reasons on why not to let children play football. My current belief on this issue though is that while these sports have many negative effects, they are too ingrained in our culture to ban…

Many sports related injuries do not just happen to professional teams but occur on youth, high school, and college teams. Concussions, knee sprains, stress fractures happen often and are now considered common injuries. Parents do not get overly worried, like they should, due to the severity of these injuries that happen to their children. In reality, the real problems are how parents encourage their children to be extremely competitive on the field and play aggressively, the amount of traumatic injuries that occur on the field, and how it is affecting the futures of young athletes. These are the reasons why youth sports are becoming too violent to be safe for children.…

There have been several studies conducted on the dangers of concussion in youth football. They all seem to mention the same issue. The effects that these concussions have on the thinking, behavior and attitudes of the youth. Many of them begin to act out with negative or aggressive behavior, they underperform in school, and many often acquire anger issues. These results are alarming. I believe that for this to change there must be awareness of these negative effects and focus on the children and protecting them. Concussions are not the only dangers in youth football, there are also reports of children paralyzed and other severe injuries that can stick with them for many years and often sometimes the rest of their…
