Why Is Hamlet Crazy

My thesis for my character is the Hamlet isn’t crazy. Like most of the characters in this book think he is, I think that he’s not crazy because he says in the book,” I must start my mad act again”. He pretends throughout the whole act to be mad because he is mourning his father’s death and his mothers fast marriage, which lead to him not being king of Denmark.

Hamlet acts crazy because he is the only one mourning his father's death. Hamlet figures out who has murdered him and at a play, he reenacts how his father was murdered to see how King Claudius would act after seeing this play.
