Why Is Health Informatics Important
we need health informatics to make sure our patients are taken care of now and in the distant future. we can use the information from their current treatment or even from their inputs. Health Informatics is important because it is used to measure aspects of medical information from medical facilities. These measurements are important because they help shape what the future will hold for the healthcare industry. The main reason this is used is to make sure that medical professionals give better treatment in the future for patients. medical informatics has a huge impact on quality of care. if we did not know how the patients' care was, we would not know what to fix or prevent. not only does this help with current protocols but think of how it can prevent diseases from spreading or even starting within an area or the United States? we can use health informatics to store the information and retrieve it when we need to analyze it. mostly of the information will be used by researchers to help aid in the future. how would you feel if one of these informatics were needed by one of your loved ones for a long stage disease? i am certain that you would find that it would be very beneficial. most of the time most would classify this importance of informatics as a statistical purpose, I think of it as more of research for the medical systems' future! …show more content…
one we could run out of funding to get the program of informatics up and running. another we would have to have funding to get all the software up and running for our facility. by doing this we have to have the money to train and properly implement this system. also with having the system we need to have back up plans if it were to fail. a back up system to enter all the information would be our best option. not to mention if we enter most of the important information on to paper as well and store it within our
