Why Is Hercules Considered A Hero
Hercules is considered a great hero in Greek myth. This is because he overcame a lot of obstacles in his 12 labors. These labors where tasks made to punish him for murdering his wife in children when he was in a trance bestowed upon him by Hera. Even though he is considered to be a hero, Hercules killed multiple people and creatures during his adventures. Most of these beings did not deserve to die. Hercules got carried away in his journey and killed anything that opposed him. Some of the creatures Hercules killed were dangerous beings that were killing innocent people. These monsters deserved to die. In one case; however, two men had “tried to steal his cattle, so he killed them”. This is no reason to kill someone. People who steal things
