The world's largest nocturnal primate, the Aye Aye lemur, resides on the island of Madagascar. The primate rose to fame in the Madagascar movies in which they were portrayed as cute, loving, and furry creatures. Although, in reality it is quite the opposite. The lemur has a very different type of life than the movies portray. The Aye Aye lemur is a very scary, almost demonic looking animal, which causes problems with the villagers of Madagascar. Because of their appearance, the villagers of Madagascar are killing the Aye Aye Lemurs, which they believe are evil.
Although the lemurs are seemingly harmless, they are being killed because they are thought to be evil by the villages in Madagascar. The lemurs have huge eyes that are too big for their bodies, large, sensitive ears, rodent-like teeth, and a very long middle finger. One solution is to create a new animal and tell the villagers that this new animal is actually the evil one. They will spend so much time looking for this new animal that they will not even think about the Aye Aye lemur anymore. If they do not believe it is evil, the lemur will no longer be killed. The made up animal should look something like an alligator, be the size of hippo, with the mane of a lion. The name of the animal should be “ManbearPig” or “Olona bera kisoa” in Malagasy, the native language spoken in Madagascar. Madagascan “elders” from other tribes will tell the stories about the evil tendencies of the olona bera kisoa. The legends and folklore will be made up about this “evil” animal and passed on to other tribes and then passed down from generation to generation so that they will fear the olona bera kiosa and not the Aye-Aye
