Why Is It Important To Critically Evaluate Human Behavior?

In Psychology, it is important to be able to critically evaluate a claim about human behavior. I evaluated many different articles in this course and had to determine if they are creditable or not. Critical thinking helped me throughout this course in order to prove creditability on articles discussing human behavior. Over time I gained more knowledge when it comes to evaluation a claim. This is an important skill to have and is extremely useful in this course. To begin with, my major writing assignments demonstrate I possess critical thinking by the grade I received on them. My critical thinking on human behavior expanded the more I learned and practiced doing it. For the first major writing assignment I only got half the points. I was not sure at first of common things the press article leaves out. Then for the second one writing assignment, I got more than half points on it. This shows my thinking and analyzing improved from when I first entered the course. I was

Look for the research article and if you cannot then narrow out what is the popular press article is missing to be valid. I would also think of other variables in the articles that can interfere with results. The press articles leave out important information so that is another reason to look for the research article.
