Why Is Stealing Wrong

The Online program has taught me a lot. Stealing is wrong and it effects not only you, but others also. The reasons why stealing is wrong is because it hurts the stores profits and the stores will lose money, it is a dishonest thing to do and you will have the guilt of stealing for as long as you have the item you stole, and it hurts family members that care about you and want you to do your best to stay out of trouble. My mom was so upset the day that I was caught stealing just twenty dollars’ worth of an item. Especially being that I had the money to purchase the items. You never want to see your mom sad and it makes you sad to see that happen and it’s even worse when at that point there’s nothing you can do to make it better. It’s a really bad feeling to have to disappoint people that care about you even when you don’t mean to cause any
I’m not a thief, I don’t shoplift, I was just a young kid that made a wrongfully decision, and I have learn my lesson. This incident has taught me a lot, I could’ve been arrested and I knew I was afraid of going to jail, that my worst fear. So I just corporative with the young man and the officers because I didn’t want any trouble. Thank god, the officer just had me a court ticket and didn’t arrest me. This incident has affected me in many ways, I now have to pay off fines because of my actions, my mom’s is very disappointed in me, this would be on my record, and I don’t want this to affect the rest of my life based off a dumb decision that I made. I know if I can’t pay for the items or if my mother doesn’t have the money, I shouldn’t pick up on the item, it is not worth it. Shoplifting isn’t worth it, I would advise anyone to not take any items, even if they don’t have the money to purchase the items, leave the items there, it’s not worth the risk of paying fines, being arrested, and having to appear in
