Soundness can be described as if a syllogism has true premises and a valid argument. For this argument I stated my major premise which was “All good happenings are from morally justified people. In saying this, I did not find any counter arguments in the fact that someone who is not morally justified usually tends to be a dictator or does not have others well being in mind when making a impactful decision. Furthermore, for my minor premise I stated, “ Some wars result in good happenings”. This assertion is valid in the fact that there have definitely been good happenings that are derived from wars such as the World Wars. Accordingly, in the world wars we fought for the freedom of our country and it ended up being an extremely beneficial fight. Furthermore, saying that some wars result in good happenings is looking at the big picture of the wars that were fought, such as defeating an evil in world war two, or freeing slaves in the civil war.
