Why Is Texting Better Than Calling

Do most people prefer to call or text on the phone? Most people like texting instead of calling someone on the phone these days. For some people texting is better because people can't hear what your talking about. This is convenient for teenagers if they don't want their mom and dad to here what they are talking about. Also, some people have come to believe that phones cause radiation. So therefore texting is better than calling.

First off, Some people think that calling is better than texting. If there is something important that needs to be said some people prefer to call than text. Some people think that it means more if they can hear it rather than read it. Some older people can't figure out how to text so they really have no choice but to make a call.. Most older people really only text because that is the one way that they can get a hold of their kids.
With the introduction of smartphones many apps have come along that kids use to text each other from. Apps like KIK, Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook are used for texting or have a way to instant message inside the app. According to Emily Main in her article "This or That: Talking vs. Texting" at RodaleWellness.com, they found that 20 percent of people who get voicemail rarely check it, while 91 percent of people under 30 check a text message within an hour of receiving it-and are four times more likely to respond to a text than to a voice message. Many kids these days don't ever answer a phone call even when it's a parent
