Who is Responsible When Children Misbehave in School? When children misbehave in school, both the parents and the child can play a part, such as, parents being good role models, and children being good students The first people who need to teach children good behavior are the parents. Parents have a responsibility to talk to their children about what they see and hear in the world today. Parents have a responsibility to instill a sense of behavior in their children. When kids do something bad, parents need to teach them right from wrong, and teach them how they should behave. However, many children choose to ignore advice and go on their own way, but if the parent teach the child, and the child still do bad things, then the child is at fault. Once a child reaches a certain age their parents cannot control everything they do. Parents can raise their children to be the most respectful and responsible adults they can; however, it is up to the children to follow through with those lessons. The children may very well be responsible for their own behavior, and children misbehave because of their personal reasons. Teenagers nowadays smoke, drink, and hang out more regularly compared to the last few generations. Many factors, such as media friends, and peer pressure have been influential in molding teenager’s behavior and personal character. Children have brains of their own, and it may be so that a child can be raised up in an environment and still misbehaves. Lack of attention can cause a child to misbehave in school, and the child should be responsible enough not to do anything wrong. In conclusion, the responsibility for child misbehavior in school can affect the parent as well as the child. Even though parents are responsibility for their child’s action until they are considered adults, it is the child responsibility to not misbehave and do the wrong thing.
