This is of course problematic as the educational system is supposed to integrate and help everybody to become a part of society – also these with different needs, such as physical activity. This could be one of many fields where young men are expected to live up to standards set by society, but not everybody can or will. This can be seen on many other areas such as the masculinity of these young men. They are expected to be making lots of money and as a result of that also pay the bills and take the initiative, be decisive, tall, strong, smart and courageous among many others and just as many young women, they feel the pressure of society’s expectations, though there might not be the same awareness of the pressure of being a real man. Being unable to live up to the expectations can lead to isolation and despair, which is why change is needed. Perhaps there are no solutions, but if there was a way to let each individual let go of all bonds and norms, wouldn’t it then make it possible for every young man to somewhat decide his own destiny? Could it be that every time the norms of a society are broken, it changes the understanding of the broken norm eventually leading to it being accepted, is it not this that have shaped our society of today? Given that this is true the solution might just be society loosening its grip upon the young men, thereby letting them choose their own
