I DO think that the Seventh Man should forgive himself, In the heat of the moment It can be hard to comprehend whats happening. I think the Seventh Man should’ve ran to him and saved him but it was just too overwhelming.
Although you can give the argument “He should’ve been brave and saved him!” Well, It's not that easy, It's not like he didn’t want to save him, it's just that he was caught in the moment and couldn’t do anything. Kind of like saying “Your friend is getting bullied on the other side of the school help him?” Well yea you want to help but you can't just fly there and save the day, factors take play in situations like these.
