The extent of privacy mentioned in the constitution is amendment 4 “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” This amendment helps protect people's privacy to this day, but it was also the only privacy really needing protection during that time. With the digital age we have now, we all use some form of technology and leave some kind of digital footprint. The issue is this digital footprint can be easily tracked and monitored by many amounts of people, including the government, and it has been. We as a people have a right to our privacy, both physical and digital. On one side, there is an argument that since we are using technology that we bought from other people and are using other people’s websites, that they should have access to the information about us as it correlates to their product. I think that makes sense to some extent, there also
