Why the modern school system is ineffective rough draft

The educational system today is flawed and no longer efficient. When it comes to school, is means to wake up early, 5 days out of seven for five to eight hours, then get home and do more work. But for many children, this is seen as a dull and brutal experience. As the classes are often a lot of tedious work over actual lesson plans. So it becomes mostly work over actual education. Even though many people do come out clean and educated, there are people who come out hateful and sardonic due to them being robbed of their individuality due to the constant conforming nature of the school system. Even though education is important, individuality is sometimes more important. The school system has become less of a system of education and more of a system of conformity that disintegrates and destroys the individual’s student’s independence with strict rules, expectations, and long tedious work days. Individuality is one of the most important things that a person can have. This is especially important because if someone has their own personality, they are unique. One thing many people have forgotten that is important. Individualism is the main principle that America was founded on. Seeing the good in the individual person, rather than an entire community or race. As a result, it is important that all future generations can have and express their own unique personality and interests. But school is one of the most restrictive things to ones individuality than any other one thing. Children often enter school at a very young age; usually around age 5 or 6. So their personality has not yet (fully) developed. Children in school are still subjected to conformity and as a result, their personality is restricted to a universal phase which can have profound effects on their development phase. This can be a good thing however as many children who were in the right track can be put on the right track. But most people quickly tire of the constant tedium, stress, and clockwork
