The internet is a vast zone where the impossible transforms into the possible. Few can manipulate the internet and use it to cause harm. On August 15, 2012, the world witnessed the largest internet attack on Saudi Aramco, one of the world's largest oil companies. The attack caused "35,000 computers to be wiped or totally destroyed and every office was physically unplugged from the Internet to prevent the virus from spreading further" (Plagiary). The attack caused the entire company, that supplies 10% of the world's oil supplies, to shut down. Multiple companies in Saudi Arabia got denied oil. The effects of the attack fell instantly as shortages of oil, caused riots that injured thousands in the Middle East. Sadly, a number of school shootings in the United Sates have risen in the last 10 years. The Virginia Tech shooting, one of the most horrific shootings in United States history, left the nation devastated by the results. The shooter Seung-Hui Cho, left a "total of 30 people dead and another 17 wounded. In all, 27 students and five faculty members died" (History.com Staff). Seung-Hui walked on campus with his mind set on murdering innocent students, like a soldier with direct orders to kill. Seung-Hui Cho felted motivated to harm the innocent student because he was under privileged. This clearly indicates he knew why he was doing these horrible acts and was initially trying to harm innocent bystanders, his actions are no different from a Middle eastern terrorist bombing a target. Warfare isn't limited to a certain part of the world; it can happen anywhere with individuals that feel the need to harm. In this case, it appeared on the Virginia Tech campus.
