Why Was Rome Considered A Tyrant?

Rome was one of the most powerful Empires to have ever been established. Rome was a living empire. Having so much land and no enemies, Romans had no worries in the world. There was much entertainment in Roman cities, including chariot races, gladiator fights, and even theater. The government seemed to be working very well. With all of this being true, nobody thought that Rome would ever fall. Its descent started with some bad leaders, Christianity, and other civilizations. Rome had a number of emperors that were very detrimental to the empire. Nero was viewed by Romans as compulsive and corrupt. Many Romans believed that he started the great fire that destroyed much of Rome. Caligula was viewed as an insane tyrant. He wanted to become
