Windows Vs. Mac

En1320 Composition 1

The Mac and Windows battle has been going on for long time now. It comes down to this to how your

going to use your computer. There both great operating systems, but are every different in so many

ways and with this I will explain this too you.

Windows computers are prefered by many because of how easy they can be to customize.Because of

the way hardware is designed and user can replace any internal hardware at there choice. Now on the

other hand with Mac you can't do that with some of there parts. Lot of the upgrades you have to visit a

Apple store.

So let's talk about both operating systems. With Windows system is designed with it's main menu

start button in the lower left hand corner of the screen though it can be moodify by user. What this

does is when you click on start main menu it will show list of programs, settings and accessed too.

Also the internet brower that windows use is explorer. Mac utilize the finder, which is much like

Windows explorer, except that this is bacis for almost all the files on it's system. With Mac computer

they don't have all programs listed or my documents fold, it's applications and documents folders are

placed in sidebar on the bottom of the screen. Apart from this both systems are similar.

The Windows prices is less sxpensive and so companies use it in there business. But with Mac prices

are so high that not lot of consumers can of found it and Mac user are mostly school students or home

used. Companies really dont use it in there business.

If you ask any gamer they would say Windows has the most game listing then a Mac and why is this .

It's because companies make more games for Windows then Mac. I mean this does mean Mac don't

have games. But Mac users have to wait for separate version of games that all .

To begin, the cost of a computer can fluctuate from a few hundred dollars, to a few thousand dollars. A Macintosh differs from a PC immediately because a Mac is built for media programs. When purchasing a Macintosh computer, there are only three types of systems. Apple offers the iMac, MacBook, and Mac Pro. Each one of these unique machines is prebuilt and increases the cost of the computer drastically. On the other hand, a PC can be purchased in a variety of ways. For example, shopping online you can buy a $700 desktop computer that will satisfy the average user for a few years. In addition, you can select and purchase expensive parts for a gaming computer. A $1,500 customized Personal Computer can be built to run any advanced game with ease. However, a $3,000 MacBook will not be able to function as well as the customized gaming PC, and may encounter problems. The cost of an Apple MacBook will always be more expensive because they are all prebuilt, unlike most Personal Computers. Self-building your own PC has become the cheapest method of all, and allows for interchangeable parts in the future.…

Whether teachers differentiate content, process, products, or the learning environment, the use of ongoing assessment and flexible grouping makes this a successful approach to instruction. No student learns the same and differentiation is helping each student grow and succeed by meeting each individual needs. Directly following the American Civil War the concepts of realism and naturalism became more prominent. These ideas were considered a part of the Realistic Period which lasted from 1865 to 1914. This was a time when optimism and romanticism were rejected in writing and the focus was on what life was actually like. This type of author was known as a realist writer, they fixated on the “loss of innocence” and removed idealized subjects from their stories. Since the Civil War had recently ended, one of the most popular themes in writing was on patriotism and heroism. In Ambrose Bierce’s story “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge” (1890) the perception of patriotism brings to light the reality that people should not develop unattainable goals or…

According to many people Microsoft operating systems make it too easy for them to be attacked. Microsoft is more commonly attacked because it’s wide usage whereas linux and mac os are least common but will be prone to attack more as their popularity grows and more people are made aware of the systems and there functions.
