WINN DIXIE
Here at Winn Dixie we are always striving to improve our customer relations and experience. What can we do a company to keep customers coming back and how can we go about targeting new customers to come into the store. We currently offer those who sign up with Winn Dixie a great reward program with the Winn Dixie rewards card. The card gives out loyal customer’s deals throughout the store, a chance to win fuel points, and a chance to invest in their current or future child’s humble beginnings and future with the Baby Club Program and the Upromise College Savings. Is there any other way that we can entice the consumer and bring more cash flow into the market place?
Upon doing research I find that here in the south that Winn Dixie is among the leading market places along with Walmart and Publix. When compared to the competitors Winn Dixie offers the best rewards with those who buy into our system of signing up for the rewards card program. Not only do we off low prices but we also give incentives to the loyal customers who have their cards upon checking out we offer them a chance to get lower fuel at select fuel stations, we offer them a chance to grow their children funds for schooling. Looking at Publix and Walmat both stores offer a price match. This is where we could offer the same price for products that we sale at our store for equal or lesser money to pull in more buyers.
What can we do to make business here better? We are among the top leading in the industry but maybe we could look at smaller companies and take a look at what they are doing to be as successful as they are and what keeps them in business. We could also take a look at stores outside of the region to see what they are offering. Advertise to prospective customers with a first time visit free gift (items with low value). I’ve recently found out that Publix offers small children a free cookie from the deli, and free coffee and cocoa all year around for the adults.
